Alambi Clarke Jr.
Coach Alambi Clarke Jr.—also known as Coach “Lambo”—is a passionate soccer coach based in Columbia, Maryland, originally hailing from Prince George's County. His love for soccer began early, playing as a youth with Bethesda SC and Maryland Rush.
Coach Lambo Co-founded the Touch Kings FC in 2020 alongside Coach Omar Abukar. He currently coaches the 2012 Elite team and serves as the Technical Director of the academy. With over 15 years of coaching experience, he has helped countless young players excel both on and off the field. His coaching journey includes leading roles at Parkdale High School, where he was instrumental in the JV team’s undefeated season and a regional appearance with the Varsity team in 2014, as well as positions with Anne Arundel Soccer Association, Liverpool International Academy, Soccerdome Academy, and i9 Sports.
Coach Lambo is also an accomplished former player. At North Carolina Wesleyan College, he earned Player of the Year (2012) and was the Assist Leader (2012) while being a 2x All-Conference First Team selection. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally with Philadelphia Fury, Suresports FC, and Maryland Bobcats. He was also recruited for trials overseas, competing against Spanish teams such as Elche, Levante, and Benidorm, as well as Irish clubs including St. Patrick’s, Wexford Athletic, Cork City, and Dundalk.
Coach Lambo’s deep knowledge of the game, dedication to player development, and leadership skills continue to inspire athletes and foster a positive soccer culture within the community. His commitment to creating opportunities for young players reflects his passion for the sport and his desire to make a lasting impact on the soccer world.
